OFA

If your score does not reach the threshold set by the university, the university may assign you an OFA (Additional Educational Obligations). OFAs are meant to bridge gaps in knowledge or skills, to continue the degree course with a proper level of preparation.

How is an OFA structured?

The university chooses which sections are included in the test. So you may take the complete test or only complete some sections.

By when do you need to take the test?

Contact the university to know the procedures and deadlines.

What time is the test?

Contact your university to know the test entry time.

Can't find the test receipt?

You can’t find the receipt in the CISIA Student Area because the test booking is done through the university portal and not through the CISIA website.

What to do before an OFA@HOME?

To take an OFA@HOME:

  • You must have a mobile device (tablet or phone) and a laptop
  • Check the WEBEX Guide
  • Wait for the reminder email with detailed instructions for taking the test
  • Wait for the email with the link and access credentials on the day of the test (if you are taking the test in the afternoon, you will receive the email late in the morning. Check your inbox)

Take test simulations in the Practice Area to test your laptop before the day of the test. For the TEST OFA@HOME, you do not need to use the Horizon APP.

Do you want to see your OFA@HOME result?

In the email you receive on the day of the test, you will find a link and instructions to view your score.
