With the TOLC@HOME format, you take the TOLC online remotely. Choose any university location with TOLC dates suitable for your degree course enrolment. 

With the TOLC@UNI format, you take the TOLC in a university classroom. Choose the university with available TOLC dates suitable for your degree course enrolment and that is the closest to your home. This format is accepted by all universities.

You can use the TOLC score to access all degree courses that require: 

• The same type of TOLC 
• The same format (TOLC@HOME and/or TOLC@UNI) 

even if you take it at different university from the one you will apply to.    

Here’s an example: 
You want to apply to a degree course at University X and need to take a TOLC-E but can’t find available dates at that university. University Y, however, has available seats for TOLC-E dates. You can book the TOLC-E date at University Y: your TOLC score, if taken within the deadlines, is valid for applying at University X!
